Our product is supplied chopped, we have to chop it to release the sand which becomes trapped, it does vary season to season, from big leaves to find strands. This product likes brackish water and is often found near sewage outflows, so if you are collecting this wild you should be sure of how clean the water is as it rapidly soaks up pollutants – and never buy this from unlicenced harvesters who like to call themselves “Foragers” as they just want your money and dont care about how they source products. Our Atlantic Greens are primarily Harvested from the shores of unpopulated small islands off the coast of North West Donegal, placed in oyster cages to wash out the sand for a few days before coming into the sheds for drying.

Our webshop is now optimised for mobiles, hosted at www.seaveg.co.uk, the page for shopping for SeaVeg Wild Irish Atlantic Spirulina is here …
